Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has parted ways with her huge boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko.
The 21-year-old has been dating the Russian star since 2009, but now the pair have reportedly ended their romance. In a statement obtained by German magazine Bunte, Klitschko said they called time on their 18-month romance because it was difficult coping with having a long-distance relationship.
Scream 4 actress Hayden's statement reads: 'While we decided to split, we feel great sympathy and respect for each other and will surely stay close friends.'Wladimir, 35, added: 'We have had a great time together. But more and more we realised how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when living on two continents. 'I cherish Hayden as a person and woman and I'm sure we will stay friends.'The boxer is currently in training for his heavyweight showdown with David Haye, which is set to take place at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on July 2.
