Refusing to accept one’s wife as a wife but as a sister creates extreme problems among married couples this seems uncanny but it’s true that there are some men in this world who just cannot accept their wives and do not even consummate their wedlock. In turn the man considers his wife as a sister and not as a wife which gives a 180 degree turn to their intimate relationship when the man acts stubbornly and introduces his wife as a sister of his to the friends he meets. This puts a dead end to the relationship of a married couple between them which is strangled by the man himself before the married life is even started and the women is left helpless in her husbands hands as in most of Muslim societies. The right to divorce one’s husband which is a religious right given by Almighty Allah is very cleverly taken away from the girl when she is asked to sign the marriage contract (Nikah Nama). This makes the women like a fish out of water for the rest of her life with no other option in front of her but to take whatever is dished out to her by her beloved husband. And as a result the woman's life is spent being a celibate forever.
