Marriages are made in heaven but what about those couples where one of the spouses is an alcoholic what happens then in that case? Should the marriage stay if the alcoholic is the husband should the wife take what ever is dished out to her and her children and if it the other way round when the wife is an alcoholic then should the husband leave his wife or keep silent for the sake of his kids again? But what ever the case is being it a husband/wife an alcoholic does these people have a right to remain married or should be divorced? When even rehabs are not making any difference then what should the better half of such a person do? Move on ahead and dump such a person for good or stay with such a person and make him/her recover from this bad habit, and believe in a better future all through the steep path and hope for the best. I think first the root cause should be found why such a person is addicted to alcohol after all? Is it the spouse , the home environment the kids or the financial situation.
