I think yes because the man is torn between his wife and his mother so the out come is that the mother most of the time at least in the East become possessive towards her son and tries to take over her son by drawing her son towards her and making the wife lonely and depressed. And it’s because of this that 80-85% marriages are broken due to in laws.
